TO win 1+0 marathon you must have some skills in the board too...
Agree. Even when you both berserk in 1+0 you still cannot win just by fast clicking. Moreover, it's impossible if you are not playing against someone who is much lower rated than you.
FM, all we know that 1+0 is just based in the survival on time and not about the Chess skills. I voted 3+2 because it could allow more quality games.
Then, we could discuss about the justice «Marathon» and real skill of the chess player. The mani idea of Marathon is to gain lots of points fastly, and not to demostrate you're the best through an objective game (Chess and the most famous system named «Swiss»).
