How is cricket treated in your country

Uhh... that’s not true..... athletes just don’t get enough support and funding.....

Yes. Due to which we are bad at other sports. There are many reasons to this but the result is the same.

I am saying that we are good at sports, we just dont make it look like it

no, we are bad at sports due to lack of funding and a general aversion to playing any kind of game (since Indian parents heavily discourage sports as a professional career). "we don't make it look like it" is an excuse for poor performance. But now we are seeing chess talents in India too, so hopefully we can add chess to the lost of sports India is good at.
I live in India and Cricket is treated well.
We also have good chess players like Gujrathi, Anand and Nihal Sarin
I also love cricket!!
I'm a bowling all-rounder
Our best cricketers are Rohit Sharma(my favourite), Kl Rahul and Virat Kohli etc..

@Sarg0n
I think you are wrong
Cricket is the no.2 sport in the world( i think)
@Sarg0n it is an overrated sport in India. No disrespect, but there are many more important things that deserve the hype cricket does. It comes to a point where people give it unnecessary attention that it does not deserve. People who fight climate change and discrimination deserve to be called national heroes, not cricket players.
@Sarg0n
It's rather the opposite.
Cricket is being developed in many different countries.
Every year, cricket is reaching those places where it was never before.
It's popularity is increasing.
And those who say cricket is fading have no idea about cricket world. Possibly they are cricket hater or like some other sport.
By a decade or so, cricket will rule the world with countries like USA, Germany, Sweden, Denmark playing cricket extensively.
