Chess24 have three buttons on the left-hand-side of the site that allow you to immediately start a rated 3, 5 or 15 minute game.
I wondered if you'd considered adding something similar to lichess (which is already brilliant, btw)?

The original idea is nice, but you can go a bit further.
Right now to create a game you need at least two clicks. First click shows you a dialog with your default game settings, i.e. game variation and game time controls. And the second click creates game.
I think it would be nice to automatically determine favourite games and timecontrols for user, and automatically create small buttons to start them right underneath "Create a game" button on the main page.
Maybe have it so you can have 3 to 5 game presets in create a game, like horde 0+2, chess 8+3, atomic 2+2, etc.(i picked random ones).
