Which one is more painful in chess?
1. losing mate in #1 because of time out
2. Understanding the blunder right after the move
3. Losing the 1st place of the tournament in the last seconds.
4. mate in 3 by low rating players (-1200) in ultrabullet.
5. Or else?
* On the contrary, it can be just as enjoyable as being painful.

its my opinion @LittleJennyWren (wait did you mean Number 3, sorry if you did, I misunderstood :/)
@S_TANISH I've only had a few disconnections, and when I did it was because of my wifi and in casual so I wouldn't know

No 3 Losing the 1st place of the tournament in the last seconds.

I would say no. 2, since that's the most familiar thing to me of those.

As to number 3 and 4, never been in those situations 😅 and in case of number 1 i think i would be happy knowing i would've won with more time...😁

Losing a prize spot in tournaments despite having scored the same points as the ones who got into the prize spots due to inferior tiebreak(which depends on luck)(happened with me twice in OTB)
