Why my opponent claim a victory?
Is he just a coward?
Should i report this like "unfair game"?

If you accept a game with timecontrol 15+10, why you try to click "victory" button so fast.
in fact, I often play from my phone 15+10 games (long games), but sometimes I have a call. And I can talk 2-3 minutes. Is it illegal in chess?

What if will play with Magnus, and after few moves, champ will leave the table to peeee. Can I claim victory after 30 seconds?

If you are not connected to the site for 30 seconds, you have left the game. If you just leave the table up and go take a pee, your full time would have to run down for you to lose. It's a necessary feature since alot of people just rage-quit and you should not have to wait 10 minutes to claim victory, it's a waste of someones time. I'd claim victory too, and if my internet goes down or something makes me disconnect, I expect my opponent to have claimed the win, even if I was 1 move from checkmate.

Anyways,he can claim victory, nobody will wait for you ( I mean in Chess,but in your life i dunno).
Also,your question.If magnus have to go pee, he probably would take his phone or computer to toilet.Or he will just lose.

The claim victory option only appears when you close the site, if you don't want this to happen leave open the webpage. Maybe let your opponent know beforehand. This is the equivalent of you just leaving the tournament hall and walking out of the entire building in the middle of a game. If you are talking on the phone even just click a button then to prevent this.

PS no magnus does not take his phone to the toilet during titled arenas or in OTB play

I have no problem with you thinking for 10 minutes. But you'll have to be logged into the table. You can't waste my time after you are not logged into the game.

@proof_07 because many times people just close their browser instead of resigning. For those cases I should not have to wait 10 minutes to start a new game. There is no other way to separate the two situations. And it's pretty hard to know why someone is disconnected. I've had people resign against me while they were winning, they just didn't see it.
