bullet players what is your avg ping?

A good ping for me is 150 but after seeing some streamers play I feel like theirs must be significantly lower.
I do not know anymore.

People with 400 ms beat everybody here (lag compensation 100 %)
That's true too I guess. Some of my longest bullet games have been when I'm lagging.
It really depends but when I play I try to close everything that uses internet, so my ping is under 100. If you have problems with lag it usually helps to close all the applications that use internet and restart your pc or refresh the website.
My ping is 40-80ms normally but I have been having terrible problems competing in the Bullet tourneys.

If I premove I still drop significant time off my clock...losing nearly all games on time.

Often the last move I make I take a piece off my opponent and I hear the noise and as I wait for them to move it undoes the last move and I am down on time.

Also on a couple of occasions it has become blindfold chess midgame.

I love the bullet games but feel at significant disadvantage.

If you check out the black move times all the premoves take one second, as apposed to my opponent whose are instant... sure I played some poor moves, but nearly all were premoved and I still went down on time.
For more than 15 years my average good ping on FICS (stopped playing there years ago) was always 220 (by the way, the same as here). Notice that the tremendous increase from dial-up to high-speed connection made zero difference over the years on my ping everywhere.
So, is there any trick to lower somebody`s ping?
