A sequel to the case that investigates the case of Madam AtersAction

This is a sequel to "Why do People on Lichess have Anger Issues?", please make sure to check that out first.

People on Lichess are bound to develop anger issues. It happens to the best of us. And it's not just Lichess, it's not just Chess, it's board games as a whole. Some people will argue "Chess isn't a board game", and I honestly don't understand their reasoning.

Never mind that, here are the coping mechanisms I have seen throughout the month(s) I have been on Lichess:

-Note that for Lichess Policy reasons, I will not be saying any of the slurs that people said in Quotes or any other text.

  1. Racial Slurs (Not recommended, used by @AtersAction and @LunarBacon): The immediate use of racial slurs after encountering someone better than you or other circumstance. [Quote: "Stupid {censored}! Bring back child labour!" (@AtersAction)
  2. Profanity (Not recommended, used by @AtersAction,...): Saying derogatory words right after a loss or other circumstance. [Quote: "{Censored} you! I hoop yo have died soon! (@TheMasterofDisaster1)
  3. The Duck Method (duck): [The duck method can be found here.] The act of talking to a (rubber) duck after a loss instead of using harsh methods. [Quote: "I love talking to my rubber bath toy so much after losing 16 ranked games in a row! Gee, I hope I don't shout out any criminally offensive slurs in the next 4 minutes and 11 seconds!"
  4. PB IED (Pipe Bomb Improvised explosive device): :)
