Which is better: Lichess or Chess.com?

chess . com has 4 player chess, and the 4 player chess has a board editor, and the advantage of the 4 player chess board editor is that you can combine custom positions with other variants and you can play with fairy pieces, however the population of people playing 4 player chess is significantly smaller than the general population. It also does have bughouse and fog of war. It is possible to create tournaments between clubs you are a mod of without a premium, and you can create 4 player chess tournaments without a premium but you must be a mod to do so. You cannot create a club without a premium, but you can on lichess, also you cannot create tournaments that aren't either between groups or in 4 player chess without a membership while you can on lichess. It seems like chess . com has a greater variety of variants, but only a fraction of the population actually plays variants. Also on lichess you can play correspondence for variants while on chess.com you can't outside of forum games. Also lichess has atomic chess and racing kings. I think both sites have their advantages and disadvantages.

C*ess.com only allows a few puzzles per day unless you subscribe, Lichess is 100% free ALL the time.
This is why I am a Patron here, I love Lichess.

Yes you get videos but everyone mostly thinks lichess is better. Whoever doesn't please write some valid points.

Well it depends on how you define "better"

According to traffic (for lichess www.alexa.com/siteinfo/lichess.org#section_traffic and for chess.com www.alexa.com/siteinfo/chess.com#section_traffic )

Chess.com is better.

Player strenghth (relevant to their how close their elo score is compared to a legit elo system like FIDE) chess.com is better.

Community wise chess.com is better (more articels less toxic people)

but chess.com in my personal opinion is HIDEOUS in terms of interface UX and GUI

Videos in chess.com is good but they only allow some videos for free members and instructional videos are not available for free.
I think both sites are equal because they have advantages and disadvantages.
