I Tactis trainer "confirm move" button.

I would like a Tactics trainer "confirm move" option. I've failed countless puzzles due to mouse / finger slips and it exists in correspondence, so why not here? Should be easy to implement, too.
You have unlimited time to think about your move. Moreover, the suggested and encouraged (by design) way to do puzzles is to think of the solution beforehand. I don't think this would be healthy for the trainer.
#3: You also have unlimited time (within reason) to think about your move in correspondence chess, yet the feature is there. It's also encouraged (by design) to think of the right move before moving in correspondence. So why is this somehow "healthy" as an option for correspondence chess but not for training puzzles?

So your argument doesn't refute the OP's suggestion, it simply states some similarities between correspondence chess and the trainer, and then goes on to state "but I think they should be handled differently because my unfounded opinion."
Click the piece.
Click the square.

You cant mouseslip really.
if u can see the move on the board in tactics it takes away some of the effort of the calculation, and one of the big benefits of doing tactics is calculation practice
I think it's actively harmful precisely _because_ it discourages finding the whole variation in advance.

There are dozens of books on how chess calculation is done. They almost universally suggest finding full tactics before touching any piece.

Design and input method can subtly encourage or discourage these methods. I think the design should be targeted towards encouraging you to think up of the solution before you play any moves, because that's the way the best players play chess.
Completely agree.

To circumvent mouseslips, click the piece you want to select, then click the square you want it to go to. Don't drag and drop.

Completely agree with Hellball, not the OP, to make that clear.
