A minor point

It happens to me from time to time, and although it's a minor issue, I find it disappointing. I join a game created by another player, and they abort it. Given all the filters one could apply when creating the game, I think one shouldn't be able to abort a game one has created, it's simply disrespectful to the opponent. If one sends out a challenge, one should play when the challenge is accepted.
Hey,

It's true it does get annoying when you join games and they're aborted.

The abort feature, I find, is useful. If someone keeps challenging me to a game in the seek, and I don't _want_ to play that player, I abort it.

Also, if you seek a game and you don't want to play a particular player, you should be able to abort it before the game starts, rather than doing so in the middle - although this still happens; a topic for another time.

:)

Adding on to this point, its really annoying when someone clicks on your game then aborts. They have my rating, they have the time, they even know what side of the board I'll play yet they still abort the game. I think the seeker of the game should only be given the power to abort and all negotiations should be made through the chat.
"All negotiations should be made through the chat." You do know that not everyone speaks the same language, right?
well there's something called Google Translate :/
But what of the times that Google fails to translate? I honestly don't see this as a good idea.
"It happens to me from time to time, and although it's a minor issue, I find it disappointing. I join a game created by another player, and they abort it. I agree. I find that VERY irritating. Perhaps it could be possible to set the option to allow/disallow aborting the game in the player's preferences.
Thanks, Chess_Agent, I see your point now, too.

I like the 30 second rule in the tournaments - maybe something similar could be implemented in regular games?
